TEGETE KUULA???

Jerry Tegete

Swedish first division side Dalkurd FF have officially requested for Young Africans to release striker Jerry Tegete for a one-year loan deal through the FIFA web-based transfer matching system. FIFA’s transfer matching system is a web-based data entry programme used in the execution of player transfers between two professional clubs. Under the system, Yanga have to reply to the request as well as presenting their terms. Through the system, the national soccer federation will have all the players' data connected to the worldwide web and there will be no more physical International Transfer Certificates, but only electronic ones shall be issued or acquired.

The player’s agent, Damas Ndumbaro, told Daily News that the Swedish club has sent the request which has to be dealt with by Yanga, and should the club need any clarification or negotiation, they can do so through the new system. The system, which has become applicable in numerous federations of late, will also allow FIFA to monitor and process transactions with greater ease, leading to a crackdown on corruption and change of identity by some players. Recently, Yanga said they are ready to release Tegete and midfield maestro Athumani Idd to join the Swedish club, but only if the European side and the players’ agent meet the club’s demands.

Dalkurd, the Kurdish-Swedish first division side based in Borlange, have also requested a three-week trial for Idd, the industrious midfielder who for the past four years has been the mainstay of the Yanga midfield. Dalkurd requested that the two players should arrive as soon as possible.
